Why this kit matters

The Ki-115 Tsurugi was a Japanese single-seat aircraft developed in 1945 for special attack missions during World War II. Designed for simplicity and rapid production, it featured a lightweight airframe and minimal equipment, reflecting Japan's urgent need for defensive measures in the final stages of the war.

Though only a small number were built and none saw combat, the Ki-115 stands as a unique example of wartime engineering. Building this model offers insight into the resourcefulness and challenges faced by aircraft designers of the era, making it a fascinating addition to any scale model or military aviation collection.
